I grew up in Northern California in a small town called Paradise. It’s a mountain town; so I learned to ride horses, hike the canyon and ski. I attended California State University, Chico, where I earned a degree in Political Science. After graduation, I found myself moving to Portland.
I began my career in teaching after I graduated from Warner Pacific College with my teaching degree. I love being a teacher and enjoy working with middle school students. Their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning make this a great place to teach.
